ADULT PRIVATE/SEMI-PRIVATE LEARN TO SCULL LESSONS
Come and learn to glide through the water in a personal rowing boat through a series of lessons with a private instructor! This program is for those who are new to rowing and prefer private (one-on-one) or semi-private instruction over a small-group setting and/or the flexibility of setting their own time schedule. You will start by learning about sculling equipment, rowing terminology and sculling technique using a land rowing machine (i.e. ergometer or "erg"). The next step will be on the water experience in stable training boats. Once you are ready, you will build on your skills and start the transition into less stable singles. The learning experience will be adapted to the needs and desires of the individual rower(s).
PREREQUISITES:
- Basic Swimming Skills
- Sample Sculling (Strongly encouraged, but not required)
Cost:
$300.00 includes four private/semi-private two-hour lessons. You can participate privately or bring a friend and share the cost and the excitement of being on the water in a personal rowing shell.
