Dr. Bob Brings Home His First Gold!

Dr. Bob has been rowing for a few years - he rowed first with Deep Water Rowing (University of the Pacific's Masters team) and then with SRC Masters.  For the last two seasons, he's been with Delta Sculling Center, dedicating his training time to sculling and competing in single sculling events.  This past Sunday, October 12th, despite every kind of wind imaginable encountered on the 5k race course at Head of the Port (River City Rowing Club, West Sacramento, he brought home his first gold in the Novice 1x race!  Well, as you can see the first place medal was a glass mug instead of "bling!" Congratulations, Dr. Bob - stay on it!
