A MOST BEAUTIFUL THING
Delta Sculling Center is honored to share with you an exclusive screening of the limited released film, A Most Beautiful Thing, narrated by Common, executive produced by Grant Hill, Dwayne Wade, and 9th Wonder, and directed by Mary Mazzio. This private showing is being held to benefit the local Stockton community.
The film chronicles the first African American high school rowing team in the nation, made up of young men from the West Side of Chicago, many of whom were from rival gangs, all coming together to row in the same boat. Based on Arshay Cooper's memoir.
Virtual screenings will take place all weekend long from Friday, September 11th through Sunday, September 13th.
The live screening will take place on Saturday, September 12th, around 8:30 PM.
A BONUS Live Q&A with Arshay Cooper will take place on Sunday, September 13th, at 4:00 PM.
